Project progress update. "Registration for the State Welfare Program 2026." This aims to assist low-income citizens who genuinely meet the target criteria to receive basic government welfare rights and improve their quality of life. Registration will open from 4 June 2026 until 21 June 2026.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance revealed progress on the entitlement confirmation registration for the 2026 State Welfare Program from 4 to 11 June 2026 at 11:00 p.m. A total of 11,797,120 existing State Welfare Card holders have registered, while 1,376,853 have yet to confirm their entitlement. Those who have not completed registration are urged to do so by 21 June 2026 at 11:00 p.m. and to carefully verify all information before confirming registration.
For those who have registered but whose ID card information status is incorrect, the State Welfare Committee for the Grassroots Economy and Society has resolved that registrations with correct national ID numbers but minor errors in other information will be considered complete, and no corrections or re-registration are needed. Registrants with significant errors in essential information will have their data reviewed and corrected promptly.
The Ministry of Finance will announce the results of eligibility verification for registrants on 17 July 2026 via the program website, the Paotang application, official government apps, and the five bank registration points.
