After the "Comptroller General's Department" issued a warning to existing state welfare card holders regarding registration for electricity and water bill discounts. For those eligible under the 2022 welfare card, the last day to register for discounts on electricity and water bills is 19 June 2026 at 16:30.

This registration round covers benefits for electricity and water usage in July 2026. The bill used for the final month of benefit application will be the August 2026 billing cycle.

Conditions for registering to receive "electricity and water bill" discounts for existing state welfare card holders

• The electricity cost relief measures subsidize 315 baht per household per month. If electricity use exceeds the set limit, the state welfare card holder is responsible for the full electricity cost beyond that amount.
• The water cost relief measures subsidize 100 baht per household per month. If water use costs exceed 100 baht but do not exceed 315 baht, the cardholder receives the 100 baht subsidy and pays the amount over 100 baht themselves. If water use exceeds 315 baht, the cardholder is responsible for the entire water bill.

In summary, existing state welfare card holders from 2022 whohavealready registered for electricity and water bill discounts do not need to register again.

However, existing 2022 state welfare card holders whohave notregistered for these discounts can do so from now until the final deadline of 19 June 2026 at 16:30 only.

This registration round covers discounts on electricity and water usage for July 2026, with the final billing cycle used for benefits being August 2026.
