Key timeline for the 2026 State Welfare Card registration project is as follows:

• State Welfare Card Registration 2026: 4 – 21 June 2026
• Announcement of eligibility verification results: 17 July 2026
• Identity confirmation: 17 July 2026 – 12 January 2027
• Benefit usage starts: from 1 August 2026 onwards.

Five channels for "2026 State Welfare Card Registration"

Existing State Welfare Cardholders who wish to participate in the new registration round must "register to confirm their eligibility individually" to verify qualifications according to the new criteria. The project provides five registration channels, which include:

1. Via the Paotang application

2. Via the government application

4. Through Krung Thai Bank ATM machines

5. Register in person at registration units of five banks (operating during each bank’s working days and hours), including:

• Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC)
• Government Savings Bank
• Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited
• Government Housing Bank
• Islamic Bank of Thailand

Steps to check "2026 State Welfare Card registration status"

1. Visit the websitehttps://welfare.mof.go.thorhttps://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th

2. Click "Check Registration Status"

3. Choose one of two identity verification methods: "Check data with Digital ID" or "Check data with Citizen ID number"

4. Enter details and click "Check Data"

5. The screen will display the State Welfare Card registration result.

Which registration status qualifies for benefits?

There are three types of registration status for the 2026 State Welfare Card:

1. "Registration confirmed successfully"

• The registrant should wait for the eligibility verification results without any further action and follow the announcement on 17 July 2026.

2. "Information on ID card is incorrect"

• The registrant must re-register because the ID card information is inaccurate.

3. "ID card information verification in progress"

• The registrant should check the registration status again the next day.

If after confirming eligibility the status is "Information on ID card is incorrect" the registrant must start a new registration via any one of the project’s channels (Paotang app, government app, project website, Krung Thai ATM, or registration units at the five banks).

It is not necessary to use the same registration channel as before. If self-registration fails, assistance can be sought from registration units at any of the five participating banks.
