Student Loan Fund Warns Borrowers Finishing 2-Year Grace Period to Prepare First Payment by 5 Jul 2026

The Student Loan Fund (SLF) has alerted borrowers who have graduated and completed the 2-year grace period to prepare for their first loan installment due on 5 July 2026, enabling the continuation of educational opportunities for younger students.

On 17 June 2026, Ms. Anchalee Purivitwatthana, Acting Manager of the Student Loan Fund, announced, “Every year on 5 July, loan repayments are due. The SLF has sent the first debt notification letters to all borrowers who have reached their repayment date. Therefore, we ask borrowers who have graduated and passed the 2-year grace period to prepare to make their first payment on 5 July 2026.”

Borrowers are advised to check their 15-year repayment schedules via the SLF Connect application and generate a QR Code to pay through Mobile Banking from any bank without fees. Borrowers may also pay more than the annual required amount, which reduces both principal and interest faster, lowering interest as the principal decreases, and enabling earlier debt clearance.

The SLF invites all senior borrowers to repay on time to ensure sufficient revolving funds to pass on the educational opportunities they received to younger students still in need of assistance.”
