Progress update "Farmer assistance funds" 1,000 baht per rai — Following the first meeting of the National Rice Policy and Management Committee (NRPMC) for 2026, the committee approved the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' proposal to expand the budget for assisting dry-season rice farmers and promoting cultivation suitable for land potential for the 2025/26 production year.

This budget expansion targets 233,729 households of farmers who have not yet received benefits under the measure of 1,000 baht per rai, capped at no more than 10 rai or 10,000 baht per household, with an additional 1,846.96 million baht allocated. This raises the total project budget from 37,906.20 million baht to 39,753.16 million baht to alleviate production costs and continuously support farmers' incomes. The committee assigned the Rice Department, as NRPMC secretariat, to submit the matter to the Ministry of Finance for consideration before presenting it to the Cabinet for further approval.

3. Choose to check by "entering ID card number" and the Laser code on the back of the card, or "check via ThaiD".

4. Once entered, the system will display the farmer's information and participation status in government assistance programs.

5. If the eFarmer system shows the status as "Registered successfully" wait for approval and funds to be transferred to your BAAC account according to the payment schedule set by the agency.
