MEA Announces Power Outages on 20 June 2026 Affecting Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi

Check which areas will be affected as the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces scheduled power outages on 20 June 2026 in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi to develop and maintain the electrical distribution system for better efficiency.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announces that it is necessary to "cut power supply" in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi on Saturday, 20 June 2026 to improve and maintain the electrical distribution system for enhanced efficiency and to install equipment to convert the power supply system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily cut power in several areas as detailed below.

• Chalerm Phrakiat Rama 9 Road, Chalerm Phrakiat Rama 9 Soi 7, Intersection 4, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Nawamin Road, Nawamin Soi 42, from Intersection 1 to Intersection 14, including Klang Muang Village and nearby areas, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Laem Thong Athlete Village Road, Laem Thong Athlete Village Soi 3, from 08:30 to 16:30.
• Along Lat Ya Road, in Lat Ya Soi 1 from the beginning to mid-way, from 08:00 to 13:00.
• Along Pradit Manutham Road, from Soi Soonvijai 14 to Soi Yuenyong, from 08:30 to 15:30.
