MEA Announces Power Outages on 22 June 2026 in Bangkok and Samut Prakan

Check which areas will be affected. The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has announced power outages on 22 June 2026 in Bangkok and Samut Prakan to upgrade and maintain the electrical distribution system for better efficiency.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces the necessity to conduct power outages in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi on Monday, 22 June 2026. This is to upgrade and maintain the electrical distribution system for improved efficiency and to install equipment to transition the power system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during these operations, MEA will temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as detailed below.

Power outage on 22 June 2026 in Bangkok

• Along Route 3, from the entrance to Anan Alley to the end of Anan Alley, the entire alley will experience power outage from 08:30 to 12:00.
• On Borommaratchachonnani Road, from the intersection at soi Borommaratchachonnani 62/6 to the entire Green Niche Village project area, the outage will last from 09:00 to 16:00.

Power outage on 22 June 2026 in Samut Prakan

• On Bangna-Trad Road, Bangna-Trad soi 37, Romyen intersections 1 and 2, power will be off from 12:00 to 13:00.
