Progress on the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" project after opening for citizens to join via the "Pao Tang" application, following impacts from the energy crisis due to the Middle East regional conflict, aiming to ease living costs and maintain consumer purchasing power.

Reiterating the conditions for citizens to use the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" (60/40) rights.

  • The government pays 60%, and eligible participants pay 40% themselves through the Pao Tang app throughout the project period from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00 daily.
  • Usage is limited to no more than 200 baht per person per day, or up to the entitled amount of 1,000 baht per person per month, totaling a maximum of 4,000 baht over the entire project period.
  • Monthly rights are capped at 1,000 baht per person, with a maximum total of 4,000 baht throughout the project. Unused rights will not be carried over to the following month. The rights balance will be refreshed on the 1st of each month.
  • Rights can be used daily from 06:00 to 23:00; usage outside these hours is not permitted.
  • Users can receive alerts about their remaining balance via the Pao Tang app, which is easy and convenient to use in one place.
  • Spending at food delivery outlets is allowed from 15 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 21:00, only at participating restaurants and beverage vendors (excluding delivery fees).

Excluded are lottery tickets, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, gift vouchers/cards, cash cards, and other prepaid goods or services. Purchases must match the scanned payment amount exactly. Merchants are prohibited from giving cash change or exchanging goods/services for cash refunds under any circumstances.

However, for those eligible for the project, "Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40)" they must fully use the 1,000 baht allowance for June by the end of this month because unused rights will not roll over to the next month. The new 1,000 baht allowance will be credited on 1 July 2026.
