Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has announced the necessity to "shut off power" in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, to improve and maintain the electricity distribution system's efficiency and to install equipment converting the power system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during these operations, MEA will temporarily suspend power supply in multiple areas as detailed below.

• Charansanitwong Road, at the end of Charansanitwong 3 Alley along Bang Luang Canal, from 08:30 to 11:30.
• Suwinthawong Road, outage due to high-voltage equipment failure along Khlong Hok Rong, Khlong Song, and Khlong Lam Bueng Sai Chom, Soi Suwinthawong 98, from 09:00 to 11:00.
• Laemthong Sports Village Road, including Soi 16, Soi 14, and nearby areas, from 09:00 to 15:30.
• Kanchanaphisek Road, at Soi Sethi Siri Village, Wongwaen-Chatuchot area, from 08:30 to 15:30.

• Bearing Road, from the entrance of Bearing Soi 30/2 to the entrance of Bearing Soi 30/9, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Songtham Road, Ban Tong U Alley, from 14:00 to 15:00.
