MEA Announces Planned Power Outages on 1 July 2026 in Bangkok and Nonthaburi

Check which areas are affected as the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces scheduled power outages on 1 July 2026 in Bangkok and Nonthaburi to develop and maintain the electricity distribution system for improved efficiency.

WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced that it is necessary to temporarily cut power in parts of Bangkok and Samut Prakan on Wednesday, 1 July, to develop and maintain the electricity distribution system for better efficiency and to install equipment to convert the power system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows.

Power outage on 1 July 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Chaeng Watthana Road from Soi Chaeng Watthana 14 (Soi Kaset 3,4,5) to (Soi Sangkhom 2,3,4) — removal of old transformers and installation of new ones due to leaning poles near houses — from 09:00 to 14:30.
• Along Phutthamonthon Sai 2 Road, MEA Thonburi district, covering Phutthamonthon Sai 2 Road at Intersection 28, Ladawan Village, from Phutthamonthon Sai 2 Road to UE HOUSE Village and nearby areas as per the outage notice, from 08:30 to 13:00.
• Anamai Ngam Charoen Road near R.P.C. Soi Kaeo Jam, from 09:00 to 12:00.

Power outage on 1 July 2026 in Nonthaburi areas

• Saeng Sisan Road near Khlong Bang Na soi, from 08:30 to 15:30.
