Throughout the season, there were more than 89,000 live durian sales sessions on TikTok Shop, averaging a new live stream every 1.4 minutes.
Overall fruit order volume grew by 134%.
Nearly half of durian buyers made repeat purchases, reflecting strong consumer confidence in online shopping.
Additionally, the Department of Internal Trade forecasts that by 2026, Thailand will produce about 2.07 million tons of durian (70% for export and 30% for domestic sales), making digital platforms a crucial mechanism for fast product distribution.
