Behind the scenes of Solo 16, Nose Udom declares it a debt-relief microphone after a trusted staff member's fraud forced him to mortgage his home.
Nose Udom Taepanich opened up on the 'Kamkorn Khao' off-air talk show with Sorayuth Suthassanachinda on 3 July 2026 while promoting the Solo Microphone 16 show. "DEAW 16: NEVER GROW UP" Nose candidly admitted that part of his return to the stage was due to financial problems, calling this performance series a "debt-relief microphone." This came after a trusted staff member caused him nearly total financial ruin through fraud.
Nose explained that the perpetrator was a former close and trusted staff member who used his cards to carry out various transactions causing severe damage. Nose admitted that the income from more than 46 previous shows was all lost, forcing him to mortgage his large family home to raise funds to keep life afloat. He said he never imagined at this age he would have to start over from scratch again.
Regarding the legal case, Nose said the lower court sentenced the perpetrator to 20 years in prison without bail, while the perpetrator's wife fled. He admitted he has never seen the perpetrator since he was detained and has not attended court proceedings because he still feels pain from being betrayed by someone he once loved and trusted. He said, "I can look him in the eye, but it hurts."
Beyond the fraud issue, Sorayuth revealed during the talk that previously Nose had planned to build an art exhibition space and had purchased riverside land in the Bueng Kum area. However, because the land was long and narrow with limited depth, and setbacks were required from both the waterline and the road, the buildable area was too small to construct a building. Nose admitted with a laugh that it was a poor decision.
Nose said that despite the heavy burden, he chooses to draw strength from laughter and encouragement from his audience to get through the most difficult time in his life.
The DEAW 16: NEVER GROW UP show is scheduled for seven performances on 11-13 and 17-20 September 2026 at Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon.
