
The Oil Fund Committee announced a price reduction of "oil prices" for the diesel group by 2.56 baht per liter and gasoline group down 2.51 baht per liter, effective 5 a.m. tomorrow, 8 July 2026.
Following directives from Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul after a Cabinet meeting, Energy Minister Aeknath Promphan urgently convened the Energy Policy Committee and the Oil Fund Management Committee this evening to discuss measures to reduce retail oil prices in line with falling costs.
Most recently, on 7 July 2026, it was reported that the Oil Fund Management Committee announced the results of today's meeting, deciding to reduce diesel prices by 2.56 baht per liter and all types of gasoline by 2.51 baht per liter, effective 5 a.m. on 8 July 2026.
