The Student Loan Fund (SLF) clarified the progress of recalculating debts, having completed 4,157,175 accounts, or 99.56% of all accounts requiring recalculation. They advised borrowers to check their debt balances exclusively through the Student Loan Fund Connect app.

Ms. Anchalee Purivitwatthana, Deputy Manager of the Student Loan Fund acting as Manager, revealed that SLF has completed recalculating debts and uploading the data onto the Student Loan Fund Connect app for 4,157,175 accounts, representing 99.56% of the total 4,175,475 accounts. Approximately 18,300 accounts with complex data remain, with efforts underway to resolve these promptly.

Additionally, to ensure borrowers can accurately verify their debt information, SLF requests borrowers to check their balances only via the Student Loan Fund Connect mobile app. Payments can be made through Mobile Banking at any bank by scanning a QR code or other SLF payment channels. The system will update debt balances within two days after payment.

For borrowers repaying through salary deductions via employers, after the deduction, employers remit payments to SLF by the 15th of the following month. SLF then applies the payment to reduce debts. Currently, SLF is upgrading the payment system, which may cause longer delays in updating debt balances for salary deductions.

Borrowers can also review past payment histories via the Student Loan Fund Connect app under the menu "Services" > "Other Items" > "Past Payment Records," which displays detailed payment information and serves as proof of payment.

SLF confirms that all repayments made by borrowers are fully integrated into the system and calculated according to legal criteria. The funds received are recycled as educational capital to provide learning opportunities for future students.
