Regarding the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (POM) launching the Digital Drive for Citizens project: communicating and promoting the "POM CARE" system aimed at ensuring eligible people are not left out and those ineligible do not overlap, enabling them to submit applications for "financial assistance" and track their application status independently via the e-Service system on smartphones, covering six types of financial assistance.
Mr. Nikorn Somkalang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, stated that the ministry has developed an electronic self-service application system called "POM CARE" to facilitate citizens in submitting requests, tracking status, and accessing social welfare rights quickly and comprehensively.
It also helps agencies manage data systematically by integrating with the POM Smart and MSO-Logbook systems and linking data with other agencies via ThaiD and the government app, effectively addressing public issues from application submission, welfare rights assessment, to ongoing monitoring.
At the same time, officials can share data efficiently, reducing work duplication and improving accuracy in screening and timely assistance.
The public can apply independently via the e-Service system on smartphones during June–July 2026 for six types of financial assistance, including:
1. Emergency social problem assistance subsidy
2. Financial aid for children in poor families
3. Family welfare financial assistance
4. Assistance and rehabilitation for persons with disabilities
5. Financial aid for low-income and destitute individuals
6. Financial assistance for elderly persons in hardship
Citizens can independently request help through the e-Service system on smartphones as follows:
1. Log in to the "POM CARE" system via the websitehttps://vsmart-care.m-society.go.th/
2. Choose an identity verification method to apply or track status through ThaiD or the government app
3. Read details and consent to data collection under PDPA
4. Fill in information for preliminary eligibility check and submit the assistance request
5. Wait for officials to verify information and assess the hardship
6. Track the approval status of the application
1. Supporting photos for consideration
2. National ID card, household registration, or other government-issued documents
3. Household registration
4. Bank book (page showing account name and number)
