The well-known restaurant brand 'Nuea Tae' released a statement clarifying its internal financial situation following the controversy over delayed employee salary payments, assuring they have not been complacent and apologizing for the incident.
On 11 July 2026, it was reported that the Facebook page " Nuea Tae" the well-known halal restaurant, posted a statement from the 'Nuea Tae' brand management explaining the internal financial situation and their problem-solving approach. They noted that in response to social media reports about delayed employee salary payments and temporary branch closures, the management has not been negligent regarding the situation and wishes to sincerely and transparently clarify the facts.
Over the past 13 years, the company has always prioritized its employees. However, in the past six months, the company has faced liquidity problems, not due to declining sales but because of errors in the internal cost calculation and recording system. This caused actual costs to be higher than estimated, leading to long-term accumulated losses. This directly affected liquidity while the company was improving its accounting and management systems.
The company fully understands the difficulties and hardships faced by employees and their families. They sincerely apologize for the delays and the worries caused. Currently, management is urgently negotiating to secure additional funds to improve liquidity and promises to pay all outstanding salaries to every employee as soon as possible.
They are now speeding up improvements to the cost accounting system, restructuring management, and reallocating financial systems to ensure tighter controls and transparency to prevent a recurrence. Temporarily closed branches will reopen soon, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.
“We deeply regret this incident and sincerely apologize to all employees affected. We also apologize to all customers for any concerns caused. The 'Nuea Tae' brand remains committed to conducting business with honesty, sincerity, and transparency to continue delivering the best to everyone, Insha'Allah.”
We thank everyone for their understanding and appreciate all employees who have stood by and fought together through this crisis.
