MEA Announces Planned Power Outages on 12 July 2026 in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan

A reporter stated that the websiteof the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced that power outages are necessary in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi on Sunday, 12 July 2026, to enhance and maintain the power supply system's efficiency and to install equipment to convert the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables.

For safety during operations, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows.

Power outage on 12 July 2026 in Bangkok areas.

• Along Bang Bon 4 Road, from Soi Prasit 4/4 to the southern side of Phasi Charoen Canal Road, including Laddarom Village, Soi Yaem Phaka 1, Ban Mankhong Cooperative, Soi Yaem Phaka 3, Soi Prasit 4/2, with outages scheduled from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Ram Inthra Road near Tipphipat Building and surrounding areas from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Sukhumvit 77 Road from the entrance of On Nut 30 to the entrance of Pueng Mee 29 from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Promrat Road, Soi Udomsin, from 08:30 to 12:00.
• Dinso Road from the entrance of Soi Prasuri to Saphan Wan Chat intersection from 08:00 to 13:00.
• Suan Phak Road, from Soi Suan Phak 1 to Suan Phak intersection from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Chokchai 4 Road, Soi Chokchai 4 Soi 36 (end of intersection 4), from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Yothin Phatthana Road, Soi Yothin Phatthana 11, intersection 9, from 08:30 to 15:00.
• Thahan Road from Soi Kiek Kai intersection to Soi Tha Ruea Kiek Kai from 08:30 to 15:30.

• Rattanathibet Road inside Nonthaburi Provincial Hall from the Welfare Building to the Nonthaburi Prosecutor's Office from 08:00 to 15:00.
• Pracharat Road, Soi Wat Thinkorn and surrounding communities from 08:00 to 15:00.
• Bang Na-Trat Road, Soi Ban Klang Krung Office Park from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Pathum Thani-Bang Len Road (346) from Thai Nato Packing Tape Co., Ltd. to Nonthaburi Concrete Co., Ltd. from 08:00 to 17:00.
• Pathum Thani-Bang Len Road (346) near Cheua Ha Huad Industry Co., Ltd. from 08:30 to 15:30.

Power outages on 12 July 2026 in Samut Prakan areas.

• Suksawat Road to Wat Laem Fa Pha area from Ruam Phatthana Soi intersection, Ek Sanguan Umbrella Industry Co., Ltd., Tai Nguan Textile Industry Ltd., United Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., to the Laem Fa Pha community intersection from 08:30 to 16:00.
• Rattanathibet Road inside Nonthaburi Provincial Hall from the Bang Sue Canal side building to the Provincial Hall building from 08:00 to 15:00.
• Lat Phwai Road, MEA will cut power to relocate poles and cables for road expansion in Bang Phli New Industrial Estate from Thai Panich Bank to DZ Guard (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Strapack (Thailand) Corporation Ltd., and the New City Substation from 08:30 to 15:30.
• King Kaew Road from Happy Place Soi entrance to Bangchak gas station from 08:30 to 13:00.
• Pu Chao Road from the row of shophouses opposite Siam Michelin Co., Ltd. to in front of Isuzu Motors Co., Ltd. from 08:00 to 15:30.
• Department of Public Works Road SP 2032 (Sai Buay Roy - Sao Thong Klang) from Khlong Ta Seng, Khlong Pak Kaphang, MP Restore Shop, to Wat Buay Roy intersection; MEA will add a new electrical circuit from 08:30 to 15:30.
