MEA Announces Power Outages on 14 July 2026 in Bangkok and Samut Prakan

Check which areas will be affected as the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces power outages on 14 July 2026 in Bangkok and Samut Prakan to improve and maintain the efficiency of the power supply system.

A reporter noted that the websiteof the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced the necessity to cut power in Bangkok and Samut Prakan on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, to upgrade and maintain the electrical supply system for better efficiency and to install equipment for converting the power system from overhead lines to underground cables.

For safety during operations, MEA will temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows:

Power outage on 14 July 2026 in Bangkok areas:

• Ratchaprarop Road, Soi Wongpeng, from 09:00 to 15:00.
• Sappawut Road, Soi Rompho, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Borommaratchachonnani Road, Village Laddawan Soi 21/4, from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Along Chakrapong Road, from Soi Borombunpot to inside Soi Borombunpot near Golden Mountain, from 08:30 to 13:00.
• Ramkhamhaeng 94 Road, Soi Aura, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Rama II Road, Rama II Soi 83, Intersection 1-4, from 09:00 to 12:00.

Power outage on 14 July 2026 in Samut Prakan area:

• Lakewood Village Road Soi 7/1, from 08:30 to 13:00.
