Registered applicants "State Welfare Card 2026" What to do after passing the appeal eligibility criteria, and when can benefits be used?
After the registration for the State Welfare Program 2026 opened for existing welfare cardholders and targeted citizens who missed out in previous rounds to receive basic government welfare and improve their quality of life, the registration period ran from 4 to 21 June 2026.
Mr. Winij Wisetsuwanphum, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office (FPO) and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, announced that those who meet the eligibility criteria for the 2026 program can start using state welfare benefits as follows.
The eligibility results will be announced on 17 July 2026 starting at 6:00 a.m. through various channels, including:
Applicants can check their registration results through four channels:
1. The project's official website.
2. Government applications.
3. Registration units at five banks.
4. Paotang application.
After the eligibility results are announced, if an applicant is found "ineligible" according to the program's criteria and wishes to have their information re-examined, they can appeal within 15 days from the announcement date through the four channels above by:
1. Website https://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th or https://welfare.mof.go.th (applicants can immediately click the "Submit Appeal" button on the system).
2. Government applications and Paotang application (applicants can immediately click the “Submit Appeal” button on the system).
3. Submitting appeals through the five registration banks: Krungthai Bank, BAAC, Government Savings Bank, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank of Thailand (services available during each bank's business hours at each branch). Applicants should notify the bank of their intention to appeal so the bank can click the "Submit Appeal" button.
If you pass the appeal eligibility criteria and are a previous welfare cardholder, you do not need to re-verify your identity (e-KYC) because the program already has your information. If you have never received state welfare benefits before, you must complete e-KYC through one of the five registration banks or the Paotang application. You can start using benefits from 1 October 2026 onward, but if delayed, you will receive benefits once identity verification is completed.
