Appeal Channels for Those Failing Eligibility Criteria for the State Welfare Card

Registration "State Welfare Card 2026" If the eligibility check result shows you did not meet the criteria, what appeal channels are available?


From the project "Registration for State Welfare Year 2026" The project has opened registration for existing State Welfare Card holders and target groups who missed out in the previous round, allowing them to receive basic government welfare benefits and improve quality of life. Registration was open from 4 to 21 June 2026.

Recently, Mr. Winit Wisetsuwanphum, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office (FPO) and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, announced that those who meet the eligibility criteria for the 2026 project can start using state welfare benefits as follows.

  • Existing State Welfare Card holderscan start using their benefits from 1 August 2026 onwards.
  • New recipients of the State Welfare Cardcan start using benefits from 1 October 2026 onwards to align with assistance from other government programs.

The eligibility results will be announced on 17 July 2026 at 6:00 a.m. via various channels including:

  • Website https://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th or https://welfare.mof.go.th
  • Pao Tang application
  • Government application
  • Five registration units (Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Savings Bank, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank of Thailand).

What should applicants who do not meet the eligibility criteria do?

Applicants can check their registration results through four channels:

1. The project’s official website

2. Government application

3. The five bank registration units

4. Pao Tang application

After the eligibility results are announced, if you find that you "did not pass the eligibility check" according to the project's criteria and wish to request a re-verification, applicants can appeal the eligibility results within 15 days from the announcement date via the four channels above by:

1. Website https://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th or https://welfare.mof.go.th (applicants can immediately click the "Submit Appeal" button on the system).

2. Government application and Pao Tang application (applicants can immediately click the "Submit Appeal" button on the system).

3. Submit an appeal through the five bank registration units: Krungthai Bank, BAAC, Government Savings Bank, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank of Thailand. (Services are available during each bank and branch’s business hours. Applicants should notify the bank of their intention to appeal so the bank can activate the "Submit Appeal" button).

How to appeal eligibility results via the Pao Tang app

1. Tap "Check Results" on the project banner.

2. Tap "View Eligibility Results".

3. Enter contact information and confirm the appeal.

4. Confirm the appeal submission.

5. Appeal submission successful.

If you pass the eligibility criteria in the appeal round, what should you do and when can you start using the benefits?

If you pass the eligibility criteria on appeal and have previously received state welfare benefits, you do not need to reconfirm your identity (e-KYC) as the project already has your information. If you have never received state welfare benefits before, you can complete e-KYC through the five bank registration units or the Pao Tang app. You can start using benefits from 1 October 2026 onwards. If delayed, benefits will be granted once identity verification is completed.
