
The Ministry of Finance has announced the eligibility results for the State Welfare Card 2026 and opened the system for registrants to check their status starting 6 a.m. today through four channels.
Following the project "Registration for State Welfare 2026" which allowed existing State Welfare Card holders and target groups who missed out in the previous round to register for basic government welfare and improved quality of life, with registration open from 4 to 21 June 2026.

For those granted rights,existing State Welfare Card holders(those who already have the card) need not take any further action and can begin using benefits from 1 August 2026 via the Paotang app or their ID card.
However, for those granted rights,new State Welfare Card holdersmust verify their identity (e-KYC) through the Paotang app or the five designated registration units before they can start using benefits from 1 October 2026 onward.
Those not meeting eligibility for the 2026 project can submit an appeal from 17 to 31 July 2026 via the four main channels mentioned above. After submitting the appeal, they must contact the eligibility verification unit to correct information by 16 August 2026.
The verification process will then resume, with appeal results announced on 21 September 2026 through the same four main channels. Benefit use can begin from 1 October 2026 onward.
