Announcement of those who qualify for the registration project "State Welfare Card 2026" on 17 July 2026, starting from 6 AM onward

On 16 July 2026, Winij Wisesuwanphoom, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, disclosed that the Public-Private Welfare Committee for the Grassroots Economy and Society (the Committee) at its 9/2569 meeting reviewed the registration results and eligibility verification for the State Welfare Card registration project 2026, as approved by the Cabinet on 2 June 2026 and 14 July 2026, as follows.

Eligibility verification results for the 2026 project showed 9.51 million qualified out of 18.82 million registrants, divided into

  • Group 1: Existing State Welfare Card holders numbering 12.70 million
  • Group 2: Non-cardholders identified in the Basic Necessities Database of the Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior, and the Electronic Family Book system (MSO - LOGBOOK) of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, totaling 0.74 million
  • Group 3: Non-cardholders additionally surveyed by the Ministry of Interior during registration, totaling 5.38 million entries

Regarding the rights review results, they will be announced on 21 September 2026 to allow careful verification by the responsible agencies and enable those qualifying in the review to begin using benefits on 1 October 2026.

Therefore, the eligibility results for the 2026 project will be announced nationwide on 17 July 2026 starting at 6 AM via four main channels: the website https://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th (or https://welfare.mof.go.th), the Paotang app, the government app, and five registration units (Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Savings Bank, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank of Thailand).

Those who qualify under the 2026 project are divided into two groups as follows:

1. Existing cardholders can begin using their rights under the 2026 project starting 1 August 2026.

2. New qualifiers must complete identity verification (e-KYC) via the Paotang app or the five registration units before they can begin using their rights from 1 October 2026.

Meanwhile, those who do not qualify under the 2026 project can request a rights review from 17 to 31 July 2026 via the four main channels mentioned. After requesting a review, they must contact the eligibility verification unit to correct their information by 16 August 2026 and undergo re-verification. The review results will be announced on 21 September 2026 through the same four main channels, and those approved can start using their rights on 1 October 2026.
