“Pond Jakkrith Tangtun” is known as a tattooed rescue volunteer and popular influencer with over 5.9 million Facebook followers. He initiated a nationwide free body transport project to assist those financially disadvantaged.
Before his rescue work, Pond Jakkrith worked as a gas delivery boy, then as a foundation staff member earning about 4,000–5,000 baht per month. He later opened his own tattoo shop and simultaneously pursued volunteer work while funding his education.
During his rescue work, he experienced a turning point after seeing bereaved families forced to borrow from informal lenders to cover funeral transport costs. This inspired Pond Jakkrith to create the nationwide free body transport project.
