Regarding the case of "Teacher Sai" posting a tearful video pleading for justice after her husband experienced sharp pain from his fingers to his left chest, sweating profusely. At the hospital, the doctor neglected to perform an ECG, diagnosed him with anxiety, and sent him home. Before the day ended, he collapsed and died. The autopsy revealed two blocked coronary arteries, sparking widespread discussion online.
Most recently, on 18 July 2026, the Facebook pagePublic Relations of San Kamillo Ban Pong Hospitalposted a statement expressing condolences and explaining the hospital's actions, stating: "Regarding the incident involving the deceased patient at the hospital, the management, doctors, nurses, and all staff express our deepest sympathy and condolences for the loss. We also extend our heartfelt concern and support to the family and relatives during this difficult and sorrowful time.
The hospital recognizes the concerns and impact caused by this incident and takes seriously the doubts raised by the family and the public. Initially, the hospital has appointed a fact-finding committee, inviting relevant experts to carefully, thoroughly, and fairly review all medical data and treatment processes.
To ensure the investigation is transparent and unbiased, the hospital has ordered the doctor involved in this case to suspend duties until the investigation is complete.
