The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has announced the necessity to temporarily "cut power" in Bangkok on Monday, 27 July 2026, to develop or maintain the electricity distribution system to improve efficiency. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows.

Power outage on 27 July 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Liab Khlong Thanon Road, Soi Phahonyothin 54/1, Intersection 8-4 (Soi Phuyai Muan - Wasanukul), from 09:00 to 12:00 hrs.
• Phahonyothin Road, Soi Phahonyothin 48, Intersection 8, partial areas (power outage only for those notified), from 09:00 to 15:00 hrs.
