WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announced the necessity for temporary power shutdowns in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Sunday, 28 July 2026, to improve and maintain the power supply system for greater efficiency and to install equipment transitioning the electrical system from overhead to underground cables. For safety during operations, MEA will temporarily suspend power supply at several locations as follows:

Power outages on 28 July 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Lat Phrao Road, Mu Ban Klang Krung Lat Phrao Soi, and Lat Phrao Soi 25 from 08:30 to 15:00 hrs.
• Ram Inthra Road, Ram Inthra Soi 19 intersections 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 from 08:30 to 15:00 hrs.

Power outage announcement for 28 July 2026 in Nonthaburi areas

• Sai Yai-Wat Ton Chueak Road, covering Wat Sai Yai, Wat Sai Yai School, Thanya Sai Noi Village, up to the pawnshop area, Chuan Chom 5 Village, Sai Noi Municipality Kindergarten, and nearby areas from 08:30 to 15:30 hrs.

Power outage announcement for 28 July 2026 in Samut Prakan areas

• Bang Pla 16 Road, Thepharak Road, from Soi 33/25 to Soi 33/36 from 08:30 to 14:00 hrs.
• At the roadside entrance to Ueathorn Phul Charoen housing project, MEA Bang Phli district will install a new sectionalizer supplying the Ueathorn Phul Charoen project from 09:00 to 13:30 hrs.
