Hlun graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University. During his childhood, he lived with his grandmother in Kalasin Province after his father passed away. His grandmother cared for him, took him to school, and instilled various values. He shared his life story on his page, stating

• that during school, he attended a nearby government school with no tuition fees. He used any available scholarships and received full support from his teachers until he completed high school (Grade 12).
• He then decided to work in a factory in Bangkok, working 10 hours daily to find a way to continue his education. Eventually, he earned a full scholarship to Chulalongkorn University, marking a turning point in his life.
• After enrolling at Chulalongkorn, Hlun began fulfilling his dream of backpacking around the world. From his first year, he worked various jobs—distributing flyers, collecting donations for foundations, tutoring, selling online, and taking university gigs—to save money.
• After graduating, he had saved enough funds to backpack for a year and embarked on fulfilling his dream.
