The Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara is coordinating efforts to track down Hlun Solo and reports that Georgian officials are intensively pursuing leads. Any progress will be promptly reported.
Update on the case of searching for Hlun Solo the popular travel YouTuber who has lost contact after traveling to film content in Georgia. His brother said they last spoke on 13 July 2026.
Most recently, on 29 July 2026, the Facebook pageRoyal Thai Embassy, Ankaraposted a message stating that regarding the case of Bawornthat Pengsuk, also known as "Hlun Solo," an online travel content creator who has been out of contact with relatives while filming in Georgia for about two weeks,
the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara said it is closely coordinating with Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Embassy officials are traveling to liaise with Georgian local authorities, the Thai Honorary Consul in Georgia, and Thai volunteers in the area to assist in the search for Bawornthat. Georgian officials are fully committed to following all leads. The embassy will provide updates as soon as any progress occurs.
