Free Expressway Access on 30 July 2026 Buddhist Lent Day with Toll Waivers on 3 Major Routes

30 July 2026 GMT+7, "Buddhist Lent Day" The Expressway Authority of Thailand offers free access on three expressway routes, covering a total of 63 toll gates.


FacebookExpressway Authority of Thailand EXATA post stated that the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), Ministry of Transport, announced toll waivers on three expressways during a three-day public holiday as follows:

  • Tuesday, 28 July 2026 (King's Birthday)
  • Wednesday, 29 July 2026 (Asalha Bucha Day)
  • Thursday, 30 July 2026 (Buddhist Lent Day)

From 00:01 to 24:00, covering the following routes:

  • Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway (Din Daeng–Bang Na–Dao Khanong), 21 toll gates
  • Si Rat Expressway (Chaeng Wattana–Bang Kho Laem–Srinakarin), 32 toll gates
  • Udon Ratthaya Expressway (Bang Pa-In–Pak Kret), 10 toll gates

This toll waiver follows government and Ministry of Transport policy as stipulated in the amended concession agreements among EXAT, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), and Bangkok-North Expressway Company Limited (NECL). It aims to facilitate public travel during holidays, reduce public expenses, and alleviate traffic congestion at toll booths.
