The family recently received information from the embassy and investigating police that the repatriation process is currently in the documentation phase. The police are awaiting a power of attorney from Thailand. Once paperwork is complete, the police will coordinate with Georgian prosecutors to expedite removing the body from the morgue and sending it back to Thailand as soon as possible.
Regarding the cause of death, no official autopsy has yet been conducted. Therefore, the family cannot confirm or conclude the cause of death at this time. They must wait for the official findings from authorities.
As for the belongings, the police initially reported finding a camera, laptop, mobile phone, wallet, cash, passport, clothing, and other personal effects. The cash remains intact, and no signs of tampering were found.
