The brother of “Hlun Solo” confirms the family has never accepted donations, emphasizing that their highest priority is to promptly arrange the return of his brother’s body to Thailand.
On 1 August 2026, FacebookKlose Mosthe Facebook page of Bowornthat Pengsuk’s older brother, known as “Hlun Solo,” a famous travel YouTuber who was found deceased in Georgia, posted a message stating: “Hello, on 01/08/26, the family would like to clarify some facts to prevent misunderstandings caused by information circulating on social media.”
The first point concerns reports claiming the family notified the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 19 July 2026. This is false. The family officially informed the Ministry through the relevant channels on 27 July 2026.
Another point the family strongly affirms is that they have never accepted donations nor authorized any individual or organization to collect donations on their behalf. If anyone encounters claims or fundraising using the case of their brother, please be cautious and do not believe such information.
The family’s sole intention is to take every possible measure to respectfully bring their brother back to Thailand, while also following up on the facts and investigation process to ensure justice. They do not want this tragedy exploited for profit or to create the impression that the family is using this loss as a means to receive donations, as this is neither their intention nor desire.
Regarding the repatriation of the brother’s body, related agencies, including his insurance company, are providing continuous assistance and coordination. The family expresses sincere gratitude to all parties offering their full support.
As for inheritance or property rights, the family has not focused on this matter at this time, as their priority remains the swift repatriation of their brother’s body and following the investigation and autopsy results from relevant authorities to establish the official cause of death.
Currently, there are no additional updates from the embassy, and no official autopsy has been conducted.
Therefore, the family cannot confirm or conclude the cause of death and will await the responsible agencies’ findings before informing the public.
Previously, I decided to give an interview exclusively to the program "Hon Krasae" with the intention of accurately conveying the facts to the public and reducing misinformation. However, some information was later disseminated inaccurately, causing misunderstandings on several points.
If there are confirmed developments from the responsible agencies, the family will promptly inform everyone through their official channels.
Finally, the family sincerely thanks all agencies, the embassy, officials, the media, and the public for their ongoing support, encouragement, and assistance. They also request cooperation in refraining from sharing unverified information to ensure the smooth operation of authorities and to honor the deceased and the family.
Thank you all very much.
