He stated that after hearing additional information from the family and involved parties via the 'Hon Krasae' program, he believes this set of data is the closest to the truth currently available, and he wants to analyze further from a medical standpoint what is possible and what should be examined further.

The reason is that many types of evidence can be tested later for toxins, genetics, or pathology. But if samples are destroyed or not collected initially, many tests cannot be done afterward. If embalming chemicals are used before repatriation, some tests remain possible but become more difficult than collecting samples first.
