WebsiteThe Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announced that it is necessary to temporarily cut electricity in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, to improve and maintain the power supply system for greater efficiency and to install equipment converting overhead power lines to underground cables. For safety during this work, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows.

Power outage on 4 August 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Arun Amarin Road, Arun Amarin Soi 41, only in announced areas, from 08:30 to 11:00.
• Charansanitwong Road, MEA Thonburi district, Ban Kaeo Villa Soi, Charansanitwong 35 Soi 16 intersection, partial outages as announced, from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Pattanakarn 61 Road, Muang Thong 2/2 Soi 11, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Udomsuk Road, Udomsuk Soi 42 intersection 4, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Rom Klao Road, Rom Klao Sois 21/3 to 21/6, from 09:00 to 13:00.

• Roads along the Chao Phraya riverside, Village No. 3 opposite Wat Saeng Siritham, to Villages Nos. 1-2 Ban Kret Trakan, up to Pa Fai Pier community, from 08:30 to 15:30.
