The latest update: The Royal Thai Embassy has received the body of "Hlun Solo" successfully. The older brother has confirmed the identity as his younger sibling. Plans are underway to repatriate the body to Thailand as soon as possible.
On 1 Aug 2026, the Facebook pageKlose Mosbelonging to the older brother of Mr. Bowornthat Pengsuk, also known as "Hlun Solo," a famous travel YouTuber found deceased in Georgia, posted the latest update stating: "According to information from the embassy, at 16:20 today, at 13:00 (Georgia time), embassy officials completed receiving the body of my younger brother.
I have received confirmation of the identity that it is indeed my brother. His body has passed forensic verification according to Georgian official procedures. The forensic department reported they have collected necessary samples and evidence for further autopsy to support an official conclusion later.
Currently, the body is well preserved and the process of preparing documents for repatriation to Thailand is underway. Once the paperwork is complete, the embassy will promptly coordinate flights to return my brother's body to Thailand as soon as possible.
His passport will be returned along with the body. Other belongings remain with Georgian authorities for examination following procedures. Once inspections are completed, these will be sent back to Thailand through the embassy.
The official autopsy results are still in progress. The embassy will continue to monitor and inquire about the timeline regularly. Any further updates will be shared immediately. Thank you to everyone for your support and concern for my brother and our family."
