On 4 August 2026, reporters noted that the Facebook page "Klose Mos", belonging to the elder brother of Mr. Bowornthat Pengsuk, also known as “Hlun Solo,” a famous travel YouTuber who died in Georgia, posted an update on repatriating Hlun's body to Thailand, stating: “I would like to provide a progress update (4 August 2026) regarding bringing my brother's body back to Thailand as follows.
Currently, the travel schedule is proceeding as planned. His body will leave Georgia on 5 August 2026 and is scheduled to arrive in Thailand on 6 August 2026.
Officials from the Royal Thai Embassy will oversee the transfer of his body at Tbilisi Airport to ensure everything goes smoothly before returning to their duties, and will continue to closely monitor progress with Georgian authorities.
Regarding subsequent procedures, the embassy has sent a letter to Georgian authorities requesting the prompt delivery of the autopsy and toxicology (Toxicology Report) results to Thai officials as soon as possible. They have also coordinated to expedite the return of his personal belongings to Thailand.
Additionally, Thai volunteers and the Honorary Consul in Georgia are closely following up and coordinating with relevant agencies to ensure all steps proceed smoothly.
