WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announces the necessity to temporarily suspend power supply in areas of Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Thursday, 6 August 2026. This is to improve and maintain the efficiency of the power distribution system and to install equipment for converting the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables. To ensure safety during operations, MEA will temporarily cut the power supply at several locations as follows.

Power outage on 6 August 2026 in Bangkok areas

• On Nut 17 Road from Soi Rim Khlong Phra Khanong (Pueng Tao Kong Shrine) to Soi Rim Khlong Phra Khanong (behind Panya Village), from 08:30 to 16:30.
• Sukhumvit 50 Road near the entrance to the Chalong Rat Expressway, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Bang Waek 46 Soi on Bang Waek Road, from 09:00 to 11:30.
• Pattanakarn 74 Soi, at Hin Wong Intersection, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Sam Wa 31 Soi and surrounding areas on Sam Wa Road, from 09:00 to 14:30.
• Along Anamai Ngam Charoen Road from under the MEA transmission line near Krua Suan View restaurant to the foot of Khlong Rang Pho Bridge, from 09:00 to 12:00.

Power outage notice for 6 August 2026 in Nonthaburi areas

• Along the Chao Phraya River from Village No. 3 opposite Wat Saeng Siritham to Villages 1-2 at Ban Kret Trakan and the Pa Fai Pier community, from 08:30 to 15:30.
