On 5 August 2026, the Gold Traders Association reported that at 9:03 a.m., gold prices rose by 400 baht, resulting in "gold bar prices" buying at 64,300 baht and selling at 64,500 baht per baht weight, while "ornamental gold prices" buy at 63,020.12 baht and sell at 65,300 baht per baht weight.
