Most recently (5 Aug 2026) at Mr. Bowornthat Pengsuk’s hometown in Moo 10, Somdet Subdistrict, Somdet District, Kalasin Province, relatives, neighbors, and fans have been continuously coming to offer support to the family over recent days. Today the atmosphere is especially lively following confirmation of the repatriation schedule. Relatives and villagers have been setting up tables, chairs, and tents to accommodate guests attending the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Mr. Wirat Ratchacharee, Somdet District Chief of Kalasin, visited personally to encourage the family and brought fruit gifts. Fans also joined forces to distribute drinking water to those coming to pay respects, reflecting the warm spirit typical of the Isan region.
Reports indicate that a key focus is the mental state of Mrs. Buasong Pengsuk, Halun’s grandmother, who has been gradually regaining her spirits, smiling brightly and continuing to greet relatives every morning at the front of her house as usual.
When asked if she has dreamed of her grandson, Grandma Song revealed that since the incident, she has not dreamed of him even once. She feels much more at peace now because many relatives have come to offer support, which she described as a great medicine. The preliminary schedule, barring any additional requirements, includes a traditional three-night funeral wake followed by cremation at Wat Rangsee Chatchawan, Moo 4, Somdet Subdistrict, Somdet District, Kalasin Province.
Regarding the much-anticipated question of whether a repeated autopsy will be conducted upon the body’s arrival in Thailand, Mr. Sompong stated that relatives have yet to reach a clear decision.
