Found: Nasatala, Afghan Youth Saddened by News of Hluns Passing, Grateful to Dr. Than for Medical School Support

Nasatala, a young Afghan man, has been found. He is saddened to have just learned of "Pee Hlun's" passing and is touched by Dr. Than's volunteer support to help fund his medical education.

Dr. Thanee Thaniyawan, or Dr. Than, a medical professor specializing in critical pulmonary care and lung transplants, volunteered to cover Nasatala's tuition fees if he passes the medical entrance exam, fulfilling the wishes of Hlun Solo, a young Thai YouTuber. Dr. Than also provided contact channels for Nasatala to reach him.

. Little Child on a Cold Mountain PeakThe page shared a message from a follower who is Thai and works with a friend at the UN in Afghanistan, saying they would help find Nasatala because his village is very remote and has no internet signal, making contact difficult.

Most recently, on 5 Aug 2026 GMT+7, the pageLittle Child on a Cold Mountain Peakreported: "An update from yesterday when a follower messaged me that a friend working at the UN in Afghanistan volunteered to locate Nasatala to inform him about the death of Hlun Solo and about Dr. Than's offer to support his medical studies if he passes the exam as he dreams."

Today, our follower (P'Kate) messaged me with an update that UN staff member Sharif found Nasatala. It was learned that Nasatala recently had an accident (he still has bruises). Sadly, he only just today learned that Hlun Solo has passed away. Nasatala and his family have prayed for Hlun to rest in God's embrace.

Regarding Dr. Than, the team who found Nasatala has already provided him with Dr. Than's contact information. Nasatala was very happy to know someone would support his medical education because his family is poor. His future now depends on him.

Thanks to everyone involved in the search—both Thais (P'Kate and P'Ploy) and Afghans (Sharif)—for finding Nasatala.
