The Director of the Institute of Forensic Science revealed the preliminary autopsy results of " Hulun Solo " who died in Georgia from heart and circulatory system failure. Toxicology tests are pending, and coordination with Georgia continues to obtain detailed autopsy results for a final conclusion.
At 12:00 PM on 6 Aug 2026 GMT+7, regarding the sudden death of "Hulun Solo," a travel YouTuber in Georgia, whose body was repatriated to Thailand and sent to the Institute of Forensic Science to determine the true cause of death.
Recently, Assistant Professor Dr. Worawit Waiwut, Director of the Institute of Forensic Science, disclosed that the preliminary autopsy of "Hulun Solo" showed no signs of physical assault, including wounds, bruises, broken bones, or severe injuries. Most internal organs showed no abnormalities, except the heart, which requires further examination.
Initially, doctors concluded the cause of death was heart and circulatory system failure. However, the exact cause—whether sudden cardiac death, heart abnormalities, or poisoning—remains undetermined. Toxicology tests and genetic analyses related to sudden cardiac death will be conducted. The Institute will coordinate through the Ministry of Justice with Georgia to obtain detailed autopsy results, including blood tests, toxicology, chemical exposure, and key organ data, especially the heart. Georgia has taken tissue samples for international standard testing, which limits some repeat autopsy procedures in Thailand, but combined results from both countries will guide the diagnosis. Additionally, three key questions will be submitted: whether there are concerns about the death scene requiring clarification; blood test results focusing on toxins or chemicals potentially related to death; and detailed findings on vital organs such as the heart examined by doctors to determine cause of death.
Doctors also indicated that if heart failure is the cause, it could stem from various reasons such as myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, or sudden cardiac death, pending further tests. It is too early to conclude if lifestyle, exercise, stress, or external factors played a role. Regarding toxic gases or chemicals at the scene, doctors said blood test results from Georgia are critical, as no blood samples were received in Thailand. Therefore, information from abroad must be awaited for consideration.
Thai laboratory results are expected to take about 1–2 weeks. Coordination for information from Georgia is conducted through the Ministry of Justice. The family has been informed of the preliminary autopsy findings and may now claim the body for religious rites, as the Institute of Forensic Science has collected all necessary evidence.
