This follows the school's termination of a contract English teacher from the special English classroom program, a South African national, due to contractual misconduct effective from 24 July 2026.
After the contract termination, the former contract teacher shared images of a firearm, threatening messages, and audio clips via a LINE app open chat group, containing provocative, inciting, threatening, and harassing content. This caused concern and alarm among the school's management, staff, students, and parents. The school found it necessary to take legal action and filed an official report at Hatyai Police Station.
To ensure safety and prevent any incidents that could affect life, body, or property, the school has decided to switch to online learning from 10-11 August 2026. Additionally, the school will enhance security measures to be more stringent and appropriate, preparing to prevent and respond to any potential risks to reassure all parties regarding safety.
