WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced the necessity to temporarily suspend electricity supply in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Wednesday, 12 Aug 2026. This is to upgrade and maintain the power distribution system for improved efficiency and to install equipment converting overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily cut power supply in several areas as follows:

Power outages on 12 Aug 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Bang Khun Thian - Chai Thale Road near the end of Soi Thian Thale 28 from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Along Ratchaphruek Road from Soi Ratchaphruek 27 to Soi Ratchaphruek 31 from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Nawamin Road, Soi Nawamin 99 from 09:00 to 11:30.
• Ramkhamhaeng 39 Road, Soi Ramkhamhaeng 39 from 09:30 to 12:00.
• Wutthakat Road, Soi Wutthakat 36 Intersection 1 from 10:00 to 12:00.
• Nawamin Road, Soi Nawamin from 11:30 to 13:00.

Power outage notice for 12 Aug 2026 in Nonthaburi areas

• Pathum Thani-Bang Len Road (346) from MC Tire Trading Company area, Soi Munkong Community-Khunsri Community and nearby areas, to the outbound side heading to Bang Len district, Nakhon Pathom province, ending at Nature Benefit Company front, from 08:30 to 17:00.
• Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road, Soi Ban Khlong Farang School (Bua Iam), entire alley from Siri Chat Village Project 4, Ban Khlong Farang School to both sides along Khlong Farang canal from 08:30 to 13:00.

Power outage notice for 12 Aug 2026 in Samut Prakan areas

• Bang Phli-Tamru Road, Soi Kanchanaphan, medium voltage pole maintenance from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Along On Nut-Thepharak Road in front of Khlong Suan Subdistrict Municipality office, MEA will cut power to replace a deteriorated transformer from 09:00 to 13:00.
