WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announces the necessity to temporarily suspend power supply in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Thursday, 13 August 2026, to improve and maintain the power distribution system for greater efficiency and to install equipment to convert the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during work, MEA must temporarily cut power supply at several locations as follows:

Power outage on 13 August 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Bang Khun Thian – Chai Thale Road near Soi Thian Thale 19, Alley 2, from sub-alleys 2-6 at Luang Pho Khao community to the end of the soi, including the concrete walkway along Bang Ya Canal, from 08:30 to 16:30.
• Nimit Mai Road, Soi Nimit Mai 40, K.C. Garden Home Village 15, from 08:30 to 14:30.
• Along Kanlapaphruek Road, from Ninya Village to complete outage of the entire village, from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Ramkhamhaeng Road, Soi Tharanom, Alley 7/7, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Ramkhamhaeng Road, Soi Ramkhamhaeng 182 (in front of the entrance to Khum Rasi Village), from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Ramintra Road, Soi Ramintra 8, Alley 18 (Chinatown Village), from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Sangha Santisuk Road, near the entrance of Soi Sangha Santisuk 56 and nearby sois, from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Pradit Manutham Road, Soi Pradit Manutham 10, from 09:00 to 13:00.
