The elder brother updated that Georgia has sent the death certificate of "Halun Solo" to the embassy, but the cause of death has not yet been specified. The family hopes for justice and a transparent investigation.
Regarding the death of Mr. Bowornthat Pengsuk, known as "Halun Solo," a 27-year-old travel YouTuber who died in a hotel room in Tbilisi, Georgia, after relatives announced they were searching for him, as previously reported.
Recently, Halun Solo's elder brother updated the progress of his younger brother's death on Facebook, stating that on 14 August 2026 at 16:30, he received information from the embassy that on Tuesday, 10 August 2026, Georgian authorities had sent the death certificate to the embassy. The document contains preliminary information about the death but does not clearly specify the cause.
The embassy has sent formal letters to follow up and inquire with the relevant agencies. The family is still awaiting clear results regarding the investigation and the true cause of death.
As the family, what we earnestly hope for is that our brother's death receives justice, and that every step of the investigation process is transparent, verifiable, and fair to all parties.
If there are delays in the process, the family simply requests to know the steps, reasons, and clear progress—what stage the case is at now and what reasons are causing the investigation or related documents to remain incomplete.
We do not wish to accuse or pressure any party; we only want truth, clarity, and fairness for our brother—things the family deserves from a fair and transparent investigative process.
The family thanks the Royal Thai Embassy, Thai agencies, Georgian agencies, all officials, and all organizations and individuals involved who have coordinated, followed up, and supported the family continuously. Above all, we thank everyone who has followed this case, offered encouragement, and stood by the family during this difficult time.
We truly feel and deeply appreciate every encouragement and concern sent to us from the heart.
The only thing the family wants is for the truth to be revealed, for our brother to receive justice, and for every step to proceed transparently, correctly, and verifiably. We sincerely thank everyone from the heart.
