WebsiteThe Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced that it is necessary to temporarily suspend power supply in areas of Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Sunday, 16 August 2026. This is to improve and maintain the electrical distribution system for better efficiency and to install equipment to convert the overhead power lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily cut off power in several areas as follows.

• Along Yaowarat Road at house numbers 489, 521, 487, 48489, 487, 477, 475, from Lamphun Chai Intersection to near Phadung Dao Road, from 08:00 to 14:00.
• Krutthep Kreetha Road Soi 7, Soi Krongthong, Baan Klang Muang, TOWN, Town Avenue, Setthasiri, PRESTON, Baan Suan Racha, and nearby areas from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Khu Khlong Sip Road near Wat Si Chompoo, Wat Si Chompoo School, and surrounding areas from 08:30 to 13:30.
• On Nut Road, Soi On Nut 86 Intersection 2, from 08:30 to 15:30.
