Following the publication on the "Royal Gazette" website of the royal command announcing the ecclesiastical rank appointment "Phra Thamm Wachiradilok" to "Phra Phrom Wachiramonii" as Phra Rajakhana Chao Khana Rong in recognition of his great services to Buddhism, as previously reported (Royal command appointing "Phra Thamm Wachiradilok" to the rank of Phra Rajakhana Chao Khana Rong)
Phra Phrom Wachiramonii, formerly known as Phra Thamm Wachiradilok, was originally named Saengthong Kaewpring. He was born on Sunday, 20 April 1958, the 2nd day of the waxing moon, 6th lunar month, Year of the Dog, in Don Tako subdistrict, Mueang district, Ratchaburi province. His father's name was Jerm and his mother's name was Krom.
Ordination
He was ordained as a novice monk on 1 May 1969 at Wat Mahathat, Nai Mueang subdistrict, Phichai district, Uttaradit province, with Phra Kru Phichai Thammanurak of Wat Mahathat as his preceptor.
He was fully ordained on 17 June 1979 at Wat Mongkhon Thap Khlo, Thap Khlo subdistrict, Taphan Hin district, Phichit province. His preceptor was Phra Thep Wimonmethee (Boonma Yanawimala) of Wat Mongkhon Thap Khlo; his sermon teacher was Phra Maha Kosit Sujitto, P.D.9, of Wat Mahannoparam; and his witness teacher was Phra Wisutthipongmethee (Prasert Thansetho, P.D.7) of Wat Photale.

In 1984, he was appointed abbot of nine temples at Wat Suthat Thepwararam.
In 1987, he became Assistant Abbot of Wat Suthat Thepwararam Ratchaworamahawihan.

Educational
In 1980, he was a Pali studies teacher in the Dhamma section at the Wat Suthat Thepwararam monastic school.
In 1981, he became head teacher of the Wat Suthat Thepwararam monastic school.
From 1985 to 1987, he served as head teacher of the Sunday Buddhist school at Wat Suthat Thepwararam.
In 1990, he taught Pali studies for levels P.D.5, 6, and 7 at the Wat Suthat Thepwararam monastic school.
