On 19 August 2026, the Gold Traders Association reported that at 9:00 a.m., the first session gold price in Thailand dropped by 400 baht, resulting in "gold bar prices" buying at 68,150 baht per baht weight and selling at 68,350 baht per baht weight, while "gold ornament prices" buy at 66,779.80 baht per baht weight and sell at 69,150 baht per baht weight. Gold price for 1 baht Based on the gold weights: 1 baht gold bar weighs 15.244 grams and 1 baht gold ornament weighs 15.16 grams.
Gold price for 2 salueng or 50 satang gold, buying and selling prices based on weights: 2 salueng gold bar weighs 7.622 grams and 2 salueng gold ornament weighs 7.58 grams.
Gold price for 1 salueng Buying and selling prices based on gold weight: 1 salueng gold bar weighs 3.812 grams and 1 salueng gold ornament weighs 3.79 grams.
Gold price for half salueng Buying and selling prices based on gold weight: half salueng gold bar weighs 1.905 grams and half salueng gold ornament weighs 1.89 grams.

However, reporters noted that from market opening until 12:00 p.m., the Gold Traders Association reported five price adjustments, the latest being the fifth adjustment at 11:39 a.m. "Gold bar prices" buying at 68,050 baht per baht weight and selling at 68,250 baht per baht weight, while "Gold ornament prices" buying at 66,688.84 baht per baht weight and selling at 69,050 baht per baht weight.
