Due to heavy rainfall, water has surged and flooded many areas in Nan province, disrupting travel routes. Affected residents have had to move belongings to higher ground and evacuate to safe shelters.
Most recently, on 19 August 2026, the Facebook pageof Nan Hospital, Nan province,posted an announcement stating that Nan Hospital will suspend medical services from 20 to 22 August 2026 due to potential flooding during this period and travel difficulties for patients seeking care.
