WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced that it is necessary to temporarily cut power in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Monday, 24 August 2026, to develop and maintain the electrical distribution system for greater efficiency and to install equipment converting overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during work, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply at several locations as follows.

• Rama IX Road, near the PTT gas station, from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Lat Phrao Road, Lat Phrao 67/2 Soi, from 09:00 to 15:00.
• Chalerm Phrakiat Rama IX Road, Chalerm Phrakiat Rama IX Soi 28, intersection 4, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Lat Phrao Road, next to Siam Nissan, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Seri Thai Road, Nawathani 1,2 Sois, main line, Nawathani Golf Course area, from 09:00 to 12:00.
