Metropolitan Waterworks Authority Announces Water Outages and Low Pressure Areas on 25 Aug 2026: Check Affected Locations

The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) manages water supply in Bangkok and surrounding areas. Announces areas with "no water flow and low water pressure" on 25 August 2026. Check which locations are affected.

A reporter reported that the websiteof the Metropolitan Waterworks AuthorityorMWAannounced areas with no water flow or low pressure on 25 August 2026 due to maintenance of water pipes, pipe joint cuts, pressure adjustments, and suspension of pumping station and water plant operations, with the following details.

Water outages on 25 August 2026 by work sites (areas in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan):

1. Soi Sathupradit 57

• from 10:00 to 15:00 due to a pipe rupture, pipe size: 200 PVC.
• Affected area: Odd-numbered side of Sathupradit Road from Soi 53 to Rama 3 Road; Soi Sathupradit 53, 55, 55/1; Soi Sathupradit 57 right side connecting to Rama 3 Soi 41 left side, and all adjacent alleys in the area.

2. Ch. Krisanaseni 1/1

• from 10:00 to 15:00 pipe joint cut, pipe size: 300 PVC.
• Affected area: Sukhaphiban 5, Krisanaseni 1/1.

3. South railway line road near Charan intersection

• from 10:00 to 16:00 pipe joint cut, pipe size: 300 PVC.
• Affected area: South railway line road near Charan intersection; no water at Charansanitwong Soi 35-39 to Chak Phra canal bank; Erawan Park village to Taling Chan railway line; and nearby areas (all included).

4. Entrance to Wat Arun, Wang Derm Road
